I keep coming back to this page-so many memories, so many happy times filled with laughter and love. I am blessed to be a part of the Lindauer family. Life will never be the same without Uncle Hubert. One day all of us will be together again. Until then may God bless and keep all of us.

I just heard of Hubert's passing today (Thursday). I wish I could make it down to Dale today to pay my respects as I thought a lot of Hubert. I am so glad I got to stop in and visit with him last Novemberl at his house. I have a lot of fond memories of working with and spending time with Hubert back in my earlier years (80’s and 90’s). We spent countless hours talking about everything and solving the world’s problems. He was always so interested in what I was doing and always willing to share his thoughts and advice – some of which I still heed today. I still laugh about the time he gave me a "I told you so" when I invested a small amount "unwisely" in a penny stock. Funny thing is he mentioned that during my last visit with him after all those years. I planted some rose bushes at my house a few years back and always think of Hubert when trimming/ maintaining them. He and Lolomi always took flowers to my Grandma and probably had no idea how much she enjoyed those. He truly was a great man who thought the world of his family. You have no idea how often he talked of his family with such pride. He served as a great role model for so many. He will be missed but I am glad and blessed that our paths crossed. He will be reunited with his family in heaven and I am sure tending to the rose garden in heaven.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family on his passing.

Some of the greatest memories of my grandad, was taking walks with him by the railroad tracks just west of the Farm. Just walking and talking. What a caring and wonderful man. Thanks Grandad!

I remember 30 years ago, when we were at Purdue that Hubert, Lolomi, Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Raleigh would travel to West Lafayette to see us, and take all of us students out to the Morris Bryant Smorgasbord for Sunday Brunch. Those were great times!!

My grandfather was the most active man of his age I've ever known. Until these last few years, he would be known daily to take a stroll around Dale. One thing I always admired about him was his determination to stay active, and I was lucky to have Hubert in my life for the time that I did.
